The Egyptian Company for Natural Gas Distribution to Cities “Town Gas” is committed to implementing all standards and procedures related to occupational health and safety and environmental protection. These are applied to all the company’s activities as well as to its customers who use natural gas. The company continuously works on raising environmental awareness to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety laws and regulations, with the primary focus on achieving the highest safety levels both inside and outside the company.

The company has undertaken the responsibility of meeting the needs and requirements of its customers while adhering to the highest global safety standards through:

  • Commitment to the continuous development of installation and service operations, as well as the work system within the company and at all sites, to meet the requirements and satisfaction of customers and relevant authorities concerning official, legal, and safety requirements.
  • Issuing and reviewing quality, environmental, and safety objectives to improve and develop services, work methods, and quality systems within the company.
  • Training and educating employees to enhance their abilities and skills to perform tasks and achieve the company’s policies and objectives.
  • Protecting the environment, preventing pollution, and preventing occupational injuries and diseases resulting from the work environment.
  • Following occupational health and safety procedures and instructions for employees and promoting environmental awareness.
  • Providing a healthy and safe working environment for the company’s employees, eliminating and controlling risks associated with task execution.
  • Implementing the standard specifications for quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 across all its activities and services.
