Town Gas Company, with the determination of its employees, aimed to become the leading company in Egypt and the Middle East specializing in the installation and operation of natural gas networks.

During 2016 and 2017, Town Gas participated in several national projects in coordination with various governmental entities. They contributed to projects like “Dar Misr” in Qarunqul, Andalus, and New Cairo, as well as the social housing project in Port Said in three phases.

In 2016, they began developing strategic roads conflicting with gas pipelines, notably the Rod El Farag Axis and the Ain Sokhna Road. In 2017, they collaborated with the Ministry of Defense on transportation projects, such as the electrified train project.

They coordinated with the Military Engineers Department to develop the Tantawi Axis to secure the 16″ diameter, 30-bar pressure natural gas line feeding the pressure reduction station in the Jasmine area of New Cairo.

They also collaborated with the Road and Bridges Authority to execute the Benha-Shubra Al Khaimah road project, which intersected with the gas line feeding the North Cairo Power Station.

Furthermore, they secured gas lines in areas like the Nile Corniche, Shubra, Al Warraq, and Giza during the construction of the Rod El Farag Axis.

In collaboration with the Cairo Metro Authority, they modified gas lines conflicting with the metro lines and stations in Cairo and Giza.

In 2018, they expanded their involvement in national projects by ensuring gas lines intersecting with strategic roads, national road projects, bridges, and the Cairo Metro, such as:

  • Construction of the Central Ring Road Bridge and modifying the gas line path to avoid conflicts with the project.
  • Development of the Old Ain Sokhna Road and securing natural gas lines conflicting with the Mohammed Najib Axis – New Cairo Extension.
